Thx for the input! I think there are arguments for both sides. But funny how life is sometimes: Just sold the chip for 1499 on eBay. bzw does the thread get moved to the sold area or do I have to do something that triggers it? Thx for help Thx for the space!

Well these chips rarely die. I see it as a benefit. I already took the risk of lapping and it’s done without rounded edges so it’s rly flat. If you place it on a piece of glass you can feel the suction. it looks like a great clocker for LN2 where lapping is pretty much mandatory for these chips.

Hi guys I have for sale a binned (from 15 CPUs) and retail 10980XE. Its been professionally lapped. Great clocker, up to 5.1 possible with 1.285v (LM used on that one pre lapping) but I run it 5.0 with about 1.24v in Summer with regular TIM. The chip is temperature sensitive. That’s also the reason I managed the following score with cool air through „window mod“ 5.5+ in TimeSpy, no LN2 tested. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/11595904 For mesh 3500 Mesh is possible with about 1.35vMesh and 1.3v IO for benching. 3300 Mesh with 1.15vMesh and 1.13 IO for 24/7 For testing Memory 4000 CL12 is possible. That can be seen in a run I did in hot June which is to my knowledge the highest score on H2O cooling. https://hwbot.org/submission/4461685_csn7_cinebench___r15_core_i9_10980xe_5158_cb Invest: 1449 1399€ (includes shipping within Germany) Sold externally item located in germany and ready to ship. shipping preferably within EU (if you don‘t blame me for long waiting because of the corona situation I can ship basically anywhere) Buyer covers shipping. payment via paypal F+F or bank transfer. Needless to say I‘m a privat seller so I don’t offer any warranty nor swapping items. Also no refund nor return. All sales are final. With buying you accept the above.

Hi, I’m looking for the above in good condition. preferably in EU /CENS
  13. What voltage was required to run those speeds on the kp card? Can you test the mems for what voltage they need for 4000 12-12-12 tight subs? Thx!
  14. I don't know what happened there, I used the submit to hwbot button on 3Dmark that used to work well. Maybe not anymore since the new version of hwbot. I fixed it and attached the screen.
  15. Yes in regular TimeSpy it's not that hard. The CPU part itself isn't very demanding after all. Using less input voltage is key to get it to run.
  16. Luumi first at the finnish line :D great score and nice video!
  17. Since many Pro's are moving to 9980XE atm because they can clearly go higher on LN2 I'm looking for your old good 7980XEs that are no longer needed, but are enough for my need as I'm just getting started. Ideally I am looking for a 7980XE that can do 4.8GHz below 1.2v all core on normal ambient temp 20C like my 7960X but with 18 cores :) So a similar screen to this one would be perfect for evaluation. Thx
