@wytiwx So, setting #2 is actually 750MHz / DDR3-1500 mem speed, which falls perfectly in line with the DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1600 results you've posted :)

Is mem bandwidth of 750MHz/DDR3-1500 the experimental results?

But in other words, if we have to use 3:5 for efficiency rather than raw mem freq in particular conditions, it doesn't matter whether there is a bug or not.

What would happen when you compare strap 400 2:3 vs 5:8 vs 3:5?

    If it's not bugged then 2:3 < 5:8 < 3:5 in terms of speed, but if it's bugged then 2:3 ~ 3:5 < 5:8, isn't it?

Well,if FSB and Mem freq is almost the same, then I think mem performance should be strap 400 < 333 <266 < 200. But if FSB and Mem freq scares too much, things will become complicate.

again confirming my suspicion that either me or my mem is the limit, I’m willing to blame the mem, for now at least. Tested 4 boards (3xud3p, 1x ud3) now, 3 confirmed 725, last I only tested with a random chip which walled at 710, though I still had >0.1V range on vmch so doubt the board was at its limit

If you don't have good D9GMH, maybe you can try those crazy nanya d-die :D:D:D just kidding

For E5x00/E7x00 you need PLL under the default 1.5V, which only Gigabyte P45 and PLL-modded boards can set.
Without PLL mod, the current #1 E5200 stops at 390 air, 480 LN2.

Also, you can immediately discard Wolfdale-3M derived ones (96-98%) and focus on Wolfdale-6M ones. You can distinguish these physically.
I've tried around 50 of the latter, which would yield same results as 1000++ random ones.

For me, PLL<1.5V made worse CBB first, and worse CB sometimes.

Generally speaking, E5200 from Wolfdale-6M work better than Wolfdale-3M indeed.
