Dusting off the cobweb's ?

No delid, just LM on IHS. I should pop the top and try delid huh? We all know there are 5.5 subs coming, haha, so maybe I wont risk killing this chip...

Any special settings to get this to run? My Dark refuses @_4000 CL_12-12-12-28/220 1T with memory errors ? BUT good on everything else?
What Splave said... I would also add that high VDIMM also causes lots of issues here. Try those things above and also less VDIMM.

Seriously awesome chip there - decent temps too, liquid metal?
Thank you! Yeah, it's big water and liquid metal!! LM is magic and my ambient temps are not bad even though it's summer.

That's it everyone, thanks!! Stay tuned for more freebies, I have plenty of HW that I don't use. I will ask @Leeghoofd to step in and randomly choose a winner from all the entrants.

Hey everyone, it's time for another freebie!
I was going through my hardware recently and came across the KPC Venom container. This is such an iconic and legendary CPU pot but I just don't use it anymore. It's still one of the best all around pots and is especially good for 'fullpot' LN2 or Dry Ice. Rather than let it collect dust or sell it, I'd like to just give it away to someone who will use it and love it the way I did.
The container has been lapped and it's in excellent condition. Other than the base sanding, it's in OEM condition with no mods done. I am including a KPC thermal probe and all original hardware except the back plate. Unfortunately the back plate has been used to death and butchered up for other projects, so it wont be included with the freebie.
Shipping: I will pay USA shipping, but international people will need to pay the entire shipping bill, and it could be over $50 USD
Who's eligible: Everyone in good standing at Hwbot! However, I really do want to see it put to use, so only enter if this is something you would use.
How to enter: Just make a post in this thread.
Winner selection process: The freebie will be open for about 4 weeks. I have asked @Leeghoofd to conduct the drawing on my behalf from the entries. I will 'close' the event and then turn it over to him to randomly select a winner.
QuoteNew VENOM 6.66 will come in 5 colors. Black, red, blue, green, and gold (pimp hand edition). It features shiny nickel plated solid copper design base and anodized aluminum top sleeve. Comes with with standard KPC cpu mounting kit including black anodized lower mounting plate, rods, thumbscrews, springs, and shoulder washers. Its compatible with Am2, Am3, 1155, 1156, 1366, and LGA 2011 mounting.
As with previous revisions of VENOM, this pot is designed for full pot Ln2 benching. It gives really incredible loaded temperatures. 4 cores/8 threads 2v 6600mhz+ wprime is nothing for this pot. The tuning/capacity and speed is really…well EXTREME. -KIngpIn
