I'm currently testing the new version on several platforms. Successfully tested it on TR4 on my bench OS (for reviews):

Don't be shocked about the world record, I've added a beta benchmark category that's called "Cinebench R20 with BenchMate" to make direct uploading to HWBOT possible.

Nonetheless we will find your problem. BenchMate 0.8 brings a fresh new Bug Report Tool, so bugs can be easily but also thorougly reported just by a few clicks.

That’s absolutely fantastic to hear. Really want to bench tonight on both DDR4 and DDR3. Will download newest update if it’s out when I get home.

    11/14/18 drivers/bios for the mobo

Ive tried reinstalling, new downloads, etc. basically I have gotten the software to open once with this setup to do some testing. Same OS but with my 990FXA-UD3/9370 combo and it pulls up just fine.

Basically what happens when I open the program is the cmd prompt looking box opens, does it thing, closes and then nothing. Task Manager shows BenchMate running but I get no box to pop up. I don’t show anything in the task manager keeping it from opening.

  3. I've done some thinking on how to split the comp up, again I'm new to this and its my first year so I may not have a clue what I'm talking about.

You could split the following ways.

    Intel:

    • Mainstream DDR4
    • Mainstream DDR3
    • HEDT DDR4
    • HEDT DDR3

    AMD:

    • Mainstream Ryzen
    • Mainstream DDR3
    • HEDT Threadripper

I'm sure there is a better way to separate it, but its what I came up with from looking at past comps and what not. DDR3/DDR4 platforms should be able to do W10 without issue, possibly DDR2 but I'm not too sure.

You could also go as far as splitting whatever categories you have into temp categories. Say +20C, -10C to 19C, and under -11C

I'm just spittballing at this point trying to throw out any ideas I can think of that would help give the biggest spectrum of testing for Benchmate

  4. I know I’m new around these parts, but I kind of like option 1 over 2.

You up could do individual polls that last a week or so for each round. That would give us our comps for each round.  The 10 rounds deal sounds good to me.

I think option 2 would would probably be viable sooner, but I’m not sure how much say those who are newer to this vs those who’ve been around a while would get a say in what benchs are chosen.

Whatever the masses choose I’m all game for. I’ll bench what I can and enjoy this community as much as I can.
