@_mat_ i believe they are referring to the OS itself. Win7 can be a very large pain to get to run on Ryzen/Threadripper. Some boards say they work, but in reality don't.
I know for me I have tried getting Win7 to work on both the MSI Creation X399 and Asus ZEA X399 and it will always Blue Screen before the OS loads due to a driver fault.

The WX chips are far harder on memory vs the other chips. Didn’t mean to post twice. Not sure why it did.
-
Not that I can tell. From the testing I did on the 2970WX I should be able to get at least 2-3 more straps on the memory.
3600CL12 would be nice to hit. 3800+ most likely possible at CL14ish

Chip seems strong so far. Shooting for GB3 Top 3 World, so we shall see what she does when LN2 arrives tomorrow.

I have a used HC500A for sale. Was used for a few months. Has the thermostat bypassed to allow subzero operation. Has been used with Aquacomputer DP Ultra fluid and been kept in a well ventilated area.
Item located in Indianapolis, Indiana USA
$300 + shipping OBO
Just realized unit is a bit dusty. Will clean before shipping, drain of all fluids(obviously), and item will be shipped in a crate most likely unless a driving distance deal can be met.

Thanks man. It was unfortunate that I didn't catch the TurboV issue until after I was done for the night.

Thank you for the kind words my dudes! Learned a few things on this run tonight that I’m going to try on my other chip and see if we can’t get some higher numbers.

absolutely FANTASTIC. Thank you @_mat_

I'm all for this tbh. I have to use Win10 as the two current X399 boards that I have, do not have support/ability to run Win7.
I'm more than ok with using BenchMate and I have been a huge supporter of the program since it has come to light.
@_mat_ if you need anything from me going forward, please do not hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to test anything I can for you and if you need more than what I'm committed to now, please let me know and I'll make sure to increase the support.

Thank you sir! Had a couple of issues to work through. Unfortunately I didn't catch them until after I stopped for the evening. Going to give her another go this weekend.

Linux can also give a large boost

I don’t know that is a bugged run.
I haven’t done GB4 enough to know what 16 core scores are like. I know there is a 2950X run done with Linux that scores way above what it should at the speeds it is at.
I can throw the 2950X back in after 2970WX testing to see how far up I can push the 16 core inn gb4 if you would like.

What's the deal with Stage 4.3 and Windows 10? I know Superposition can run on Win7, but when I look at all the scores in the comp so far and most of the scores across the bot, they've all been done with Win10. So - Win10 allowed here? And, I guess the same question for Stage 4.7. I know Win10 is allowed for Stage 4.5 because it's IGPU plus a valid link is needed anyway - but I'd like to get some clarity on the other two stages. Thanks!
afaik, 3D does NOT have any OS limitations which both of the Stages in question falls under

Why not get all the “heads of state” involved and conference call this and see what can be done. Hash it out real time.
Mat, Mr Poole, someone from HWBOT, and maybe a few of the top benchers.
Conference call this shit and get it all out in the open. All the fears, questions, concerns, etc.
i enjoy benching Geekbench. Clearly I spent some of the morning yesterday snagging the score I did. I enjoy using BenchMate as it secures different benches so that I don’t have to worry about issues.
Cleary i I would love to see Primate Labs and Mat work together to get the integration hashed out and working together. It’s best for the community going forward imo.
Just some ramblings from a random nobody bencher.

Not necessarily. The previous top score was done with Dual Channel memory vs Quad Channel as was pointed out to me last night.
