Very nice score, well done
-
Very nice result, looking forward to getting one of these now myself

Very nice result dude!

Very nice score bud, that is a nice gold

A good chip with good winter air.... 5.7GHz CPU-Z is possible.
Welcome to HWB! I'd like to see a PC build section on here, but only if it's full of high-quality pics that inspire me to want to build a really stylish gaming PC
Scottish winter air is a lot cooler than ours so you have an unfair advantage

Just in case this benchmark ends up as a very popular benchmark amongst reviewers, is there any way to detect whether or not the manufacturer cheats the result by boosting the CPU frequency like they have with other benchmarks?
-
I didn't really look at the screenshot and didn't see a GPU-Z tab so just asked the question
Good to know kinda thought that would be the answer

Very nice result as always moose, looking forward to seeing what sort of score you are going to be able to get with that 4770K
Edit : Have you tried the 290X out on 05 yet and does it give you better results over the 7970?

Attatched score for my galaxy S4. Not too shabby.

You have to rent or buy a dewar and also pay for the LN2. Costs £1.20 inc tax per litre for LN2 for me and I can't remember the dewar costs but i think it was around £60 to hire a 50L dewar for a month. That's with Mansfield Cryogenics.

You got PM.

Nice score dude, what sort of cold bug did you get with the chip?
-
Only data can find the true and eliminate the cause!!
After 4000 times test on same conditions 4.5GHz Core i7-4770K
if add -ri7 add odd no. , the range is from 1172 to 1766 (1000 times)
if add -ri7 only , the range is from 1198 to 1745 (1000 times)
if add odd no. threads only, the range is from 1196 to 1716 (1000 times)
if add no -ri7 and no odd no. , the range is from 1135 to 1420 (1000 times)
- assumed more threads is more password attemped and take more times to process basis , the range is only 1135 to 1347 only !! almost 90% are average scope
- All scores over 1450 has same issue , the 2nd run is take a double password attempt and very long process time but 3rd run drop near 40% and take 100% less process time then 2nd.
Very interesting results, thank you very much for doing that. So it seems that both odd numbers and -ri is an issue.
-
I could do for tbe extra postage cost but I don't think it would be worth your time or money then.
-
not really buying them but tested around 20 i think!
Oh wow, for some reason I thought it was a lot more than that. That's not too bad.

I've read all the previous pages and I really don't understand how to see if my scores are bugged or not,it seems it's not really clear to attest how and when a score is really bugged at this stade, isn't it?
Anyway all that stuff let me thinking one question in my mind: if "lucky runs" are faults runs for UC Bench so what about Car Low lucky runs in 3D Mark 01 ?
Not done a lot of benching with 3D01 practically 0 actually, but isn't that to do with the barrel movement and other things being rendered in the scene so it's fine since there isn't a lot we can do about it?
-
good stuff quantumx!
Got a new cpu here,
back to malay yay! L334B823
How many Haswell CPUs have you been through now???
-
Looks nice, but how do you know which run is good? I mean not abnormally low or high.
In my opinion Ucbench should be replaced by something else from beta benchmarks. Who will check all the scores in the database?
Agreed, I think the damage has been done here now, there are too many bugged results for people to go searching through every result in the database and people know how to achieve these bugged scpres and almost cheat the system effectively. We really do need a solid benchmark that is consistent across the board for global points.

It could also be that your particular model has a lower stock voltage compared to other models to help keep temps as low as possible. If the card is just a benching card and can be abused then I would suggest you look into volt modding the card to get the most out of it on air cooling. You will need a volt meeter, soldering iron, variable resistors and a steady hand. There is a volt modding section on the forum if you want help with your particular model or want to learn more about it.

I screenshotted the first 10 results and was going to do it for every run but in the end just kept running it until I got what I would think is a bugged run. I can't attach anything right now since I'm on my mobile and my route has many tunnels so I lose signal often.
But just as an example of what I got, all results were inbetween 365-385 but usually around 380. Nothing out of the ordinary and I have had 412 previously when the laptop was plugged into the socket and running at max frequency.

So I was doing some testing on a 3 hour train journey home, hoping to reproduce the results other people have had using my trinity laptop. After 30 runs I just gave up. Not a single bugged run so is it actually all to do with the command line or is there something else too??
My system :
A10-4600M
Regular Win 8 install
Command line : unrar bench - cf=XOP -cpus =8,45,64 test.rar -ri7
So this could mean one of many things, 1) I did the command line wrong like a noob
2) it isn't affected with AMD CPUs or the XOP function.
3) I was just unlucky not to get a bugged run
4) doesn't happen on windows 8?
5) other tweaks need to be applied for thethe bugged run to happen I.e. end processes ect.
6) I'm sure there are loads of other things it could be but I don't want the list to go on forever
Any input would be appreciated, cheers

Nice score mate, what was the cold bug on this chip?
