Did you test with water?? Why 3600 @ 12-12-28 and not 3866/4000 @ 14-14-28/15-15-28. Higher speed = More Bandwidth??? I have a 9820x/Dark and I'M still trying to get my Memory to run @ 3866/4000 - G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GTZKW. AND I'll also ask for some Frosty Pictures :) Thank You for any advice :)

Was just doing some testing; if you check the geekbench score you will see that it ran @3850MHz 12-12
CPU did 4.9 R15 on water with ~1.2v

Hello everyone! I hope all is well.

I was wanting to do the 0.95V rail mod to my Ref 290X but it seems that finding a picture for modded Ref cards  is kind of hard to find.  And the picture in the OP of this thread isnt working for me. If anyone could post a picture of a Ref 290X with the 0.95V rail mod or even a link to one, it would really help me out!

How about after Comp in your free time you make unicorn bios. M10A 1801 modded for XP and add LN2 volts/IGP and M9A compatibility. I'm modding the 2 bios you just posted (M10A_1801_XP, M10A_0001_XP) for M9A. Will try to test tonight and post em in that thread if they are solid

issue is that I dont know what part affects the ln2 volts + IGP as this was from ASUS :D
Might check tho just for fun ^^

I wanted the modded 1801 to have HT enabled , with EZ Flash didn't work for me no matter the extension used but I will try the flashback method. Now question for those experienced , for M10A I have to rename the BIOS to a specific extension or leave it as it is ? Also , do I have to remove completely every other hardware from the mainboard and unplug everything ? When I did the flashback for M9A I only plugged the PSU and started the flash. Thanks again for your answers.

Just use the correct port (there is one tied to the flashback feature) and press the flashback button for like 3-4 sec. It should start blinking afterwards for several minutes (button, flash drive and bios led iirc)
Oh and before that; make sure that the file is named M10A.CAP (you can rename it yourself).

@FireKillerGR Hey I tried flashing the 2nd file , the 1801 for XP support on an M10A and doesn't work , it say not a valid BIOS. I renamed it .rom , .bin then again .cap and nothing. Am i doing something wrong ? Haven't tried the flashback method yet or that is exactly the one that works ? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Try with bios flashback. If you still have issues let me know

  6. Hey guys,

thought to spend some time to make the pinout of the OC Panel cable since it has been requested a couple of times already.
Here is how the OC Panel cable is split so you can try to connect it to the newer motherboards.
As you can see the full length cable (OC Panel side) is split in two (mobo port & usb port) parts.

The USB port is ONLY needed for firmware updates etc.
For OC you only need the mobo port!

    Hope this helps :)

bad question, but how to connect OC Panel/Panel II to Maximus XI series? I have old OC Panels and also cables from old series of Maximus boards. New one connector on board seems a little different ?

Is it practically the same Within M10A.CAP & 1801 Mod.CAP?

Or M10A.CAP = 0001 BIOS with XP. Which is high volt w/o LN2 mode & IGP support?
And 1801 Mod.CAP is = 1803 BIOS with XP Support?

    Thanks.

    the 2 files are different.
M10A.CAP = 0001 Bios posted some posts above with XP support.
2nd file is the original 1801 Websmile mentioned above with XP support.
