did you change the multi one that cpu? on old pentium 2 cpus which have an unlocked multi, when you change the multi from e.g. x3.5 (233mhz) to x3, cpu-z recognizes the cpu as pentium 2 200.

just put a heatsink on the clockgen and cool it as good as possible, then the "hardware" limit is no problem anymore. it will clock way higher then.
