Will check tomorrow how fast he can produce a new load
I guess normal aluminium heatspreaders are fine or does anyone want to have copper ones?
Basic question - how much for modules and shipping?
-
Can I join your search? Mine also broke, 3 out of 6 don't hold.
-
Mine!
-
Interested, PM sent

Great CPU, keep pushing!
-
Thank you very much, my not wasting words friend I'm afraid not much more can be done with mems on air

What happened and what was the fix? I have two DFIs that lost dual channel capability and DIMM slot 1 - if I place a stick in slot 1, no boot and 4 LEDs, it works perfectly fine in single channel and mems in slots 2 and 3.
Strange things, those DFI.

Wow, phil, great efficiency any tips?

And my Z170 OCF went for RMA, it didn't want to boot anymore, just instant PSU shutdown. Exactly now, when I'm getting some G.Skill E-die which are already checked for 1800+ 12-18.

Sent PM about OCZ Gold.

I wanted to throw a challenge to my team. I got an error after last step about "crappy coding skills", but I see that challenge was created, it's linked to my submission (http://hwbot.org/submission/3080702_). However, clicking on a challenge in a submission also leads to "crappy coding skills" error page, and opening challenges list from top menu shows following error frame inside a table:
Sorry, an error occured while rendering this page:
Details:
Error message: javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: Property 'challengee' not found on type org.hwbot.persistence.Contest

I think that's the difference, very few people in the batch thread test their chips with Prime95 for 1 hour. Stability difference between SPi 32M and Prime95 is pretty big.
What about XTU? For me XTU is even stricter stability test than looping 3D, but much quicker.
Anyway - Roman, what about 6600k? Do you plan on binning them as well?
-
Good job, no CL12?

The number of the beast!

strong result, nice to see your i3 is flying high

Little OT - what is max mem voltage on Asus Z97-Pro?
-
Thanks, it helped

Same as above - for Geekbench for Poland Nifir has 5494 points with http://hwbot.org/submission/3064263_ but in competition still 4338 is valid for DDR3.

Yes, but in our case we don't even have half the participants required.
Noone is interested and you can see the activity throughout the year.
Not only population, but also GDP plays a big role in this.
But that's the rules of the game and it is the same in every sport.
I'm not completely against the current way of doing it. Nothing is just black or white.
We also had plans to compete in all stages, but it didn't work as expected. It's a pity, because this year it wasn't so difficult to participate.

This is huge, well done!

No, 3200~/5 is not better than 2800+2200 etc/5...Always divide by maximum number of scores and there will be no problem.
But that's exactly the idea of penalty for not running all required core counts - divide by 5 and done.

Samsung B-DIE YES or NO?
following that - AFR yes or no? IMHO you couldn't have retail AFR before December

Rules for stage 2 and 3:
â–»Use any ASUS, Nvidia (reference) or AMD (reference) graphics card. No limitation in amount of GPUs.
â–»Use 1 videocard core(s) in total.
No idea what it means:
- multiple cards allowed? Strange, especially when Massman touched this few posts above mentioning "single GPU"
- dual-GPU cards allowed but one core disabled? - that might be my paranoia or overinterpretation, feel free to mock me
Please clarify.
