ludek111 - 865PE Neo-2P @ 307.3MHz - 307.31 MHz Reference Clock

The biggest problem is the power consumption while using a P4 Prescott. Above 1.6V and it can have a BSoD because of vDroop. If are you using a Northwood, there is also the vDroop, but is less-sensible. You can help to keep more stable voltages if you do the vDroop mod. If your Neo2-P has got the same ISL-6556x voltage regulator, you can do those vmods. I could help you also -

It will be very helpfull to get something like a WBX tune utility for this chipset. Memset can operate with i815, but it is not enough while squeezing platform to the edge of performance -

Hi, thanks I have some motherboards to add to a HWBOT database. And OK, no problem, I will change a mobo model, if Turrican would take care of this. BTW very nice motherboard. I don't like MSI, but this one is a great, nimble and agile mATX motherboard with a quiet good power section I do still have this mobo. Will check once more a full model. -

I was looking for Qxxx Intel processors, but no way to buy this. BTW I was wondering what is vNB mod doing. No difference in MHz, even while I set about 2.2V or more. The reason of poor frequencies ( < 230 MHz) on a i815 is that I had (we all had) a poor CPUs. So, this is another great Intel chipset, no doubt. -
Is this a ES processor? What vNB did you use? Should be 14x multiplier @default. Nice score.

Congrats! This should go LN2

Great! Congrats! Are those mems based on TCCD or TCC5 ICs? (or maybe something else??). What bios ver? -
North Bridge Tune for 440BX (WBX Tune 2.31) - Oldschool i440BX memset
ludek replied to ludek's topic in General overclocking
Very good idea! If you have a time, do the list of programs/tools. I am looking for a SuperPI compiled to windows 95/98. Will try to launch my 480 DX2 66 MHz and maybe a 386 processors, so it would be nice to see a SPI 1M score -
North Bridge Tune for 440BX (WBX Tune 2.31) - Oldschool i440BX memset
ludek replied to ludek's topic in General overclocking
Thanks It does work perfectly! It is possible to change lots of chipset's registers and frequencies of ram controller and many many other settings. @Antinomy - I was looking for a NForce 1 overclocking tool, but no way to find. ClockGen can work with NF2, but no way to go with NF1. Any Socket7 or older tools will be usefull (eg. GA-5AX tune program) //EDIT: changed size to linked thumb -
// MOD-BREAK // Download here: http://downloads.hwbot.org/downloads/tools/WBX%20Tune%202.31.zip // ORIGINAL POST // Hi! I am looking for a Intel 440BX timing set utility. A well-known Memset program does not work with this chipset. I have few 440BX-based motherboards and my problem is that a A-Trend ATC motherboard have problems with stability while setting a 100 MHz FSB frequency. I think this is because of lowered timings (and crap bios for sure). I just want to change it and overclock it. I have also a few 440BX Abit motherboards with "good" frequency generator. Just need to change timings. I found something in a BP6.Com forum, but I can't have access because of registration system is turned off. If somebody have this program, plese upload it LINK to the forum: http://www.bp6.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=3666 Program name is: North Bridge Tune for 440BX

Strange... My P4 631 can work with P5E3 Prem X48, Asus Commando P965, Asus P5K P35 and Formula X48. Try other bios/clean pin side of processor using alcohol/if you have done any vid mods, remove it. I can't say anything more -
wytiwx - Celeron LGA775 347 @ 8507.8MHz - 8507.75 mhz CPU Frequency

I have a little brother of this Celeron: 3709A310 SL9KN 2L70604 7B0151 It has done 4,75 GHz @ 1.180 V @ SS cooling ;D Will try @ LN2. Great score anyway! -
wytiwx - Celeron LGA775 352 @ 8543.7MHz - 8543.71 mhz CPU Frequency
ludek replied to dx4picco's topic in Result Discussions
And another beautiful score! I'm wondering what if you try this CPU on P5E64 WS evo. It has more efficient power section. You could also lap CPU (if you have not already done it). What vPLL are you using? If anyone else looking for older submission - 8505 MHz LINK: http://hwbot.org/submission/2354352 -
ludek111 - SDR SDRAM @ 206MHz - 205.9 MHz Memory Clock
ludek replied to gigioracing's topic in Result Discussions
I think 2:3 multiplier is more stable than 1:1. I'm just starting "play" with PGA370 and SDRAM and slot 1 also. I will try 1:1 with 815EP. -

Hi! I think Intel 865G can do 400MHz. I will try it using SS cooling on NB and better CPU. Maybe VTT mod will be needed. It is possible to do vmods! If you still have this motherboard, I can tell you how. Just send me private message on http://forum.hwbot.org . Sorry for beating you I don't have backups EVER! It's good news for you
