  1. Those prices are pretty reasonable but for me at least I guess domestic to Melbourne first would be cheaper and depending on accommodation it might be possible
  2. For being rusty that's actually pretty good and goes to show 970 boards still stand a chance
  3. It changes from sticks to sticks but 1.92v is a fairly normal max volts for PSC
  4. Weird thing about is I've got 2 7870k's that would only clock 44x/45x but I got a 7650k that could clock to 4.8ghz with less volts and a 7400k that was even better but temps are way better on godavari and can push 1.55-1.6v instead of 1.5v max I'd hope that's case but kaveri maxed at around 130 while richland would run 170+ but I'm eagerly awaiting the 845 to be available at retail Also anyone know which boards have south bridge pll enabled?
  5. I was present for some of the am3 and I find this whole thing hilarious
  6. I can't say for the rookie rumble but its never been a problem in other comps such as the APU challenger stage which it's best to use richland for some things and kaveri for others
  7. Tweaks don't have to be publicly available nor would I expect them to share
  8. Definitely going to have buy one when they actually show up somewhere and I hope they can run a decent bclk at worst like kaveri and I'll definitely try 4ghz 32m
  9. For 3.4ghz 14 mins is heaps fast would be great to see the amd athlons with carizzo before am4
  10. Lol, just testing imc plus what the mems can do and dreaming about running 2600 in dual channel
  11. I think it's the board since I've tried different CPU's and both sticks seem to clock the same plus I could run higher frequency in the past then I currently can and the board gives me debug codes that aren't normal for mem clocking and only happens when mems are in outer slots Would be awesome to see but a big factor of allowing to run 2800 in any benchs is nb volts around 1.3v or lower which is going to limit your gpu clocks Don't you have 2666 c11 dom plats which are likely hynix mfr? If so give them a try with stock nb volts and also see if single channel allows you to clock higher
  12. When I said they could only run 2700 4m stable........ I lied Here's some FS @ 2800 but crap score because single channel gives half the fps Plus it's 32m stable http://hwbot.org/submission/3111474_ Oh and max valid 2845 http://hwbot.org/submission/3111471_
  13. Even though single channel who would've thought kaveri had it in it - Vengeance Pro 2400 c11-13-13 8gb stick Hynix ics (bfr?)
  14. Sorry for the delay but I killed my win 10 install and the outer slots require about a extra 100-200mv to do the same because 1.75v is needed with theses 2400 xmp but the inner slots only need 1.55v This was with 1.8v and a single stick in a inner slot I did have FS running at 2700 but didn't screen and OS died so I'll have to try again later
  15. Yeah single stick and at that speed it doesn't seem to run 1m but at 2700 in can run 4m but 8m fails halfway and I'll post some screenshots later because I'm still working on it Oh and with a single stick in outer slots it doesn't post past 2550 and struggles to run stable at 2400 so I'm trying to get that sorted as well
  16. Picked up some vengeance pro 2x8gb 2400 c11-13-13 with unknown hynix ICs and they clock very high with this platform although channel b (2 outside slots) won't run past about 2500 I took off the heat spreaders but corsair branded and markings lead nowhere
  17. I think using aida64 when gpu z doesn't work is fine but best to check with christian ney or somebody first Edit: And good question would be who would I get in touch with to let them know about the problem because it was the same thing with trinity but that got fixed
