  1. Thanks Just keep in mind it's not as easy as it looks. First thing is that some hardware may not like the cold and may refuse to work or not work well. I also covered all the hardware in vas to protect against any dew which may form or ice which may melt. Also I used a old fridge/freezer because the seal on the door gets damaged by the cables which is something you don't want on a good one as it screws it.
  2. PC in a freezer with stock cooler @ -25c
  3. I found that to be the case with the CM V8 I tried How's that http://hwbot.org/submission/2657582_
  4. I hate to say it but this result is bugged it's easy to tell by the sub test scores. I would recommend removing this and in the future don't post a score if it goes black on the sub test
  5. It's a shame it's only using the stock cooler as at -20c it could be so much better
  6. Awesome improvement bones it's good to see
  7. Insane!!! I pretty surprised you're a second ahead with twcl 8 and 2t. Do you gigabyte 990fx boards run twcl below 8 or are they locked as well?
  8. Those 9xxx CPUs must have a pretty a good IMC and nonetheless 2600 c8 1t is awesome for AMD
  9. Is cold on the CPU required for 2600 1t or can you do that on air/water? I can run up to 2475 1t and 2500 2t on water and 2600 2t on cold I'm also going to be getting some Dice today to give this a go at again and hopefully 3300mhz on the nb
  10. Very nice time! I may give it another go on air but don't think I can beat that without cold
  11. Yeah Samsung is volt happy and scales past 2.3v with my sticks on air
  12. For Piledriver 32M 5Ghz Challenge http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=75196
  13. You never should've said anything and I owe a thanks to Zeroluszero for the final push in getting the mod done 14m 14.625s C8-9-9-8 1T TWCL5 @ 2.2v http://hwbot.org/submission/2644440_
  14. +300mv on the CPU (1.6-1.7v) and +300mv on the NB as well as 1.9v on the ram which I've modded to run 2.2v+
  15. I'm not really sure as i don't know what the stock volts is but it's set to +300mv which I imagine is too much for water but I had to try booting 20 odd times before it would post with that nb
  16. Since I'm impatient and suck at waiting here is my best run so far from a few days back. 14m 16.610s http://hwbot.org/submission/2642925_ I meant to do SPD tab not two Motherboard tabs
  17. For Piledriver 32M 5Ghz Challenge http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=75196
  18. They work great when you don't have an AMD mount better yet they only cost $1 for 50
  19. Yeah it's great that you can save profiles just sucks the memory addresses change with every AB version
  20. Dude no way. I don't know I missed it but ht is enabled which makes this as websmile said a joke and I won't believe that this legit without video proof within a few hundred ms but even then I'll still have doubts
  21. here's my doggy attempt at a guide which is based on this http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=68909 but different and using an apu as an example but process is the same for volts 1. Select Msi Afterburner in drop down menu and make sure it isn't minimized 2. Select search to bring up search tap 3. Enter the limit you wish to change such as vcore (1.35v becomes 1350) but anything but power limit works 4. Click on box and make sure only Integer 4 bytes is selected 5. Use the same address range but this may change with new ab versions 6. Click OK. 7.Green arrow adds all and red just the selected. 8. Change the value to change the limit in ab but this part is going to take trail and error to change the right value. Once changed it will take a second or two before it shows in ab. P.S. This intended for extreme cooling and is a hack so I'm not responsible for any damage in which it may/will cause
  22. I finally got it submitted http://hwbot.org/submission/2640849_ That's what I was hoping you would say Awesome! Will be good to see
  23. G.Skill Samsung's vs G.Skill PSC 14m 18.562s I may or may not have backups
  24. No amount of sub timings will make up for 2400 c10 given haswell does best with 2800 c9 with Samsung's on air as this isn't AMD we are about and I doubt a win xp 64 bit based OS can do so well given how slow 64 bit xp is at 32m but I could be wrong since I've never tried windows sever for 32m
