The official GIGABYTE Good Bye 2014 Challenge thread.

Any news about scores verification? -
Hi, I am having problems with my competition points. It says that I have 3 points for participating in HWBOT County Cup SP32m and 14 competition points for Gigabyte Good Bye 2014 SP32M stage, and they are missing the points for the other two rounds of Gigabyte Good Bye 2014 competiton (1 of each stage), and on my points for the ranking they are only 4 points. Also my competition points arent classified into "Points gained for your rank in official competitions." and "Points gained by participating in official competitions." like everyone competition points. If some mod can help me I would be very grateful

We will have to wait to know, with CES 2015 going on, mods probably have their heads on other things, but its understandable -

It says "an overall winner" like it were more than one. Lets see what Massman or the organization people says, it would be great to win U$S 400 + a Z97X-SOC Force LN2 but I dont think it is possible -

Rules say "If an overall challenge winner is also a stage 1st place winner, the stage prize will go to the stage next best performance." Vivi and I are overall challenge winners, so price go to the next best performance on all stages. -

Thanks Vivi and saint19! Congrats to Vivi for the 1st place and FGI for 2nd place! And also to Achill3uS, HiVizMan and topdog, winners of Z97X-SOC Force LN2 motherboards! Hope the mods verify the scores soon and confirm the winners. -

In case of two or more people have the same difference in 3rd stage, who wins? 1st that submitted the score? Or you make a lucky draw? -

The EVGA is a very good PSU... You also have Seasonic M12II 850 for U$S 119 or Seasonic X-850 for U$S 170, which are very good options. I think that with 650W you are ok. Pentium G3258 @ 4,4 GHz 1.219v has a max consumption of 64W (Source: Hexus), and reference GTX 750 with stock clocks has a max consumption of 76W (Source: Guru 3D), so I think that even with OC the full system wont exceed 650W.
