  1. The competition page says open to everyone but here in the thread it says only up to enthusiast tier. Which is correct? Will be kinda disappointed if I cant participate because I submitted a handful of ice bucket scores years ago...
  2. Very kind move of you Roman. I don't know whether the idea has been floated at all, but would there be a possibility to have an open donation box for users to help cover the costs of running the site/service?
  3. As per the title, if anyone could spare me a good kit of 2GB DDR3 sticks, I'd be very greatful! Doesn't have to be anything fantastic or spectacular, but something that can do ~1100c8 would be nice. Name a price Shipping to Netherlands or UK
  4. Hi all, been struggling to get this board to play at all nice when trying for G1840 subs. Was running my z97i Plus fine at ~107-107.6 BCLK the other day and this board won't even run anything over 103... I get all sorts of error codes 9A, 15, 35, 53 as soon as I start touching BCLK in BIOS, tried with the different PLL settings but no luck there. Half of the time the board just shuts back down after 15 or so seconds, some of the time the power and reset buttons just doesn't do anything. Can't get the OC touch buttons to work to try to adjust in OS, they light up when I press them but have 0 effect on the clocks, tried this both with a G3258 and the G1840. Overall pretty disappointed with this board, for some reason I haven't figured out it scores better in CB with the 3258 than the z97i does by around 5-7 points (at the same clocks) and I haven't the foggiest idea why.
  5. OK, thanks for the info. The only thing is I don't really want to spend money on benchmarking programs. I did just download Heaven, hope to get some scores in this weekend with that.
  6. I'm not exactly sure where to put this, feel free to move it if it is not in the right place. Here goes: I have done a few benchmarks with 3dmark06 on my GT60 (3610QM and 670m) some with strange results, could anyone with more knowledge than me explain why I may be getting the strange results. After having some initial problems with stability on the GPU I was able to reach an 820MHz core clock while running 1600MHz on the VRAM. To make sure I was not causing problems with CPU throttling due to the power usage, I clocked my CPU at 2.6GHz. I did a few benchmarks at those settings, but strangely all of them scored lower in the SM2.0 category, and only very slightly better in SM3.0 than a previous test at 730MHz core. Clocked at 730 core/1600 memory Clocked at 820 core/1600 memory I initially thought this could be because I was running the same memory clocks on the memory, but when I ran the test again the memory controller was only being used 30-40%. Next, I turned to the lower CPU clocks, which I would have thought only would affect the CPU score a lot, but this was again countered by the fact that I was only seeing 40-50% CPU usage on the cores. So, does anyone have any idea why I am not getting higher scores in the two graphics scores?
  7. Ok, afterburner worked with admin. I will take another run with that when the weather is cool enough. The main reason I was interested in overvolting was because I was getting only 65c in BF3 running at 700/1600, but I am not comfortable running the card at that clock the whole time as it is very close to instability. Do you have any idea if AB does overvoltaging automatically?
  8. http://hwbot.org/submission/2365991_qhfreddy_3dmark06_geforce_gtx_670m_19361_marks It's a GT60. I usually run it at 700/1600 when gaming. 900mV stock voltages.
  9. Thanks, the thing is I am having trouble getting my memory over 1630MHz (effective) and core over 740MHz. I am only touching 65C, so I might get a voltage unlocked bios.
