  1. Actually I am talking about bangkok Thailand... Aussies dont need a visa to vist thailand for up to 30days, you just get a stamp for 30 days at immgration check point at the airport. Also the aussie dollar goes further here than it would in Singapore. As and Australian, who has lived in thailand for 12 years and traveled around South East Asia, expenses here would be noticably cheaper than Singapore from experience. But you do have point about English but numerous Thai's involded in industries such as computing and travel speak decent english, well enough to handle all the needs
  2. Have you considered Bangkok Thailand for the South East Asia part of the tour? Flights from Australia are affordable, Hotels are as well as living expenses. Ln2 you can get 180L pressure tanks filled with 7 day rental for 4,000THB or roughly 50 cents US / L. Venue I am not sure off but maybe Zolkorn can help with that. Just something to think about if Singapore is not confirmed yet.
  3. Thanks Massman for the confirmation. Because the rules you confirmed, this is going to be a great competition for all levels of overclockers... Great job HWBot and Gigabyte
  4. Sorry I posted something similar in round 1.. Just to clarify, all rounds, all stages are done with air or water with temps in XTU above 25C?
  5. So for this round, all the 10 stages is only 2 core CPU's only with air/watercooling with temps above 25C?? just need some clarification please
  6. I thought so lol but just making sure... just need to hard vmod the card and test a modded BIOS and set for my first attempt and Ln2 a GPU.. Also, do all stages finish on the 2nd March???
  7. It says ASUS/ROG/TUF graphics card for the FSX sub, forgive me as this month will be my first atempt at Ln2 subzero and not a expert in GPU's.. does the Asus 980 strix fall into the ROG/TUF Asus GPU class?
  8. Thanks guys, yup loving this pot and for sure much easier to control temps
  9. cheers DJ, i am trying lol... might try this chip on x50/x50 for the XTU 5Ghz comp..
  10. Thanks guys , did a few runs at 6GHz/5.5GHz but kept crashing before could screenie it.
  11. Was a fun month of this competition and congrats to the winners.. I pushed hard on 8 pentiums but just couldnt get that great one lol.. Anyway thank you Gigabyte and HWBot for this great competition.. Thank you Gigabyte for the ramdom draw prizes of these G-Powerboard kits which i was lucky enough to win one..
  12. On FB it says 48hrs to the end of the superPI stage.. I was under the impression that each stage finishes on Sunday 11.59 GMT time... so which is it?
  13. Question about this competition.. Is it correct to say that processor speed is not limited for the FS stage?
  14. Amen bro.. More chips to try which are 6+ chips. just havernt pushed any hard as yet LOL
  15. Thanks CL3P20, i mo0st certainly will keep going and push harder. Still have a couple of other nice Pentiums as well.
  16. Thanks Schmuckles and Obscureparadox Also i realize dual channel is better but sometimes i find that the benching OC with one stick is occasionally much better that superPI scores are better with 1 stick than with 2. I run each bench around 4 times and pick the best score and on this occasion a single channel score won i am still wondering what is up with that, all sticks work great and same with slots.. the boards MC maybe... hmmmmmmmm
  17. Ok so i see it is resolved not quite sure if the LP is right so i just began a recalc in my profile and will let it run overnight. [Edit] Everything seems to be ok now, cheers
  18. Ahhh okies, dont know if this matters but i thought you should know that i also changed teams on the 22 Feb but you may have already noticed that
