14gen imc seems to handle cold better right ? now 8800 + possible at full pot

it is thermal throttling and down clocks, benchmate didn't report it correctly. no such cpu runs 6.3ghz r23 watercooling without that thai dd block and chilled

seriously a good and correct comment! if you get a lucky imc can show off with couple good runs, challenge is when you get something that doesn't post on cold or runs 200mt below others

as @l0ud_sil3nc3 suggested keeping ddr5 warmer get me little more stability and adjust vccsa or vddq2 makes not difference. maybe just the sticks I am using doesn't do more than 8400 -8500. wish to find a good A-die Kit that likes cold ?‍♂️

cpu only at full pot and by reflection around-20c on sticks. I had to drop frequency and lose some timings to get adie working. tested it on z790 tachyon and z790 apex with pretty much same results. like this run on below screenshot, ambient would be 8600+ and full pot struggle for 8400.

just cpu full pot. we can do all these 16k profiles runs etc, but going cold things changing

getting these adie kits working at full pot seems a problem, unless your cpu imc is great
