I got some info via the IR engineer and it seems the R9-290X is using the new VRM Design. It uses SVID just like the new CPU VRM spec, and epower board is using the old VRM. The bottom line is that the EVGA Epower board can't support R9-290X. There is basically no way to make it run as the power board has no SVID Signal! We are going to make some power boards that support these 290X cards

Splave, don't mod it yet man. These cards have a different design. Amd needs to come through with a special bios that ignores signal from controller to core

Thanks Richard! We really wanted to do well this year and it came off better than expected. No doubt next year will be a hell of a lot tougher but we'll be more experienced as well. Brrrring it on!

just rented a spot from the 6th to the 18th with two to three spots available.It's a house and located close to the strip so should be lots of fun, going to bring all my dewars and see if we can get some 230l delivered to the house

i remember James also taking the record in the Core i7 960 days. not sure why it doesnt appear, maybe he didnt put it up anywhere else other than XS at the time
