Posted May 30, 201411 yr When using the "Hardware" menü and then "Browse CPUs" most searches result in error 500 and four pages of code crying out for help. Known issue, or am I the only one? Any fix in sight? I loved the database when it worked, but it's been like this for me for several months now. //Klick for screenshot with parts of error message//
May 30, 201411 yr Author I get this error on every machine, tried 3 so far. I'm using latest Firefox and I even tried the great Internet Explorer, still error 500. Strange stuff, and like I said, had this for months.
May 30, 201411 yr Crew Oh, that's a normal situation when the database is running maintenance routines like recalculating. Try a bit later during the day. Happens only to CPU families, the CPU model page (checking Xeon E5620 instead of Xeon family) works fine during these AFAIK.
May 30, 201411 yr Author Well, I checked it every few weeks since it was introduced, but it's always down for me. But maybe just very bad luck. Thanks guys
May 30, 201411 yr Crew I'm also using the latest Firefox. Maybe Pieter or Frederik can figure it out.
May 30, 201411 yr Author Okay, I can access the CPU-pages now if I type in the page directly, like the URL and the CPU-name. That's fine for me, so don't go out of your way if I'm the only one with this problem.
May 31, 201411 yr Crew Maybe you've checked the same time of day. Usually it works around 22:00-01:00 UTC and around 7:00-14:00 UTC. Between 01:00-07:00 UTC it doesn't work for me too. I've just signed it off due to database recalculation.
