Guest harrynowl Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 New board for my 5600K. Time to see what it can do on air Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Hmm, I'm ranked 4th in 11.5 despite me having 1.08 per core which would put me in 3rd over SantZp's score of 1.07. Or does it just take a little while to update? Quote
Massman Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 It's a rounding issue. Both of you have 1.075, but for some reason the engine rounds one up to 1.08 and the other down to 1.07. SantZp was the first to score 1.075 so he is ranked higher. Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I see, thanks for clearing that up. Â Time to get a non rounded score Quote
Massman Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 As always: "To Solve Issue, Clock Higher" :D Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Having trouble to get 5.2 running. I'm using a old 420w psu with 18a on 12v rail Quote
JunkDogg Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Make sure clock as much out of your RAM as possible for 11.5 as well Harry. Makes a huge difference. Max CPU, max MEM. Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Is there a chance that the cinebench could be advanced benchmark and 1 core only? that'd level the playing field between k10 and bd/pd/sr thinking about it as they're 80% efficient when using all threads Quote
Guest Galaor Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 hello I have some doubts !,, is it possible to compete with 2 processors? bench I can do a different processor? Quote
Massman Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Yes, it's possible to use different processors in different stages Quote
JunkDogg Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I think I used 4 or 5 last comp. So go for it mate. Quote
Guest Crosshard Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 my sempron is old and worn out, so I have 6 years, before ascended more. Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 I sold mine to Jumper as I didn't really want to just keep submitting the same sempron to the competition as that's pointless Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 My A8 5600K just died on me (or my board, or both!) Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 That's a bummer though that's my last AMD chip... Quote
randyenergy Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Rookie Rumble AMD #5 As far Rookie Rumble AMD #5 is concerned it is just for Rookies. Correct? Member "harrynowl" is not a Rookie. He/She is a "Novice" which automatically disqualifies him from this competition. Clear this for me please. Thanx Quote
Massman Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 He must've moved up during the competition? Quote
randyenergy Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 The 3 months time period has already expired. Flexible rules should be like this: - If the 3 months period expires during the competition, member should be allowed to remain in the competition but excluded from the top 4 positions. Fairness to everybody. Just my opinion. Quote
Guest harrynowl Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 I'll delete my submissions if that keeps you happy.. Quote
randyenergy Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 I'll delete my submissions if that keeps you happy.. That's not a question to make me happy or not. That seems sarcastic. Or we follow the rules or we follow the circus. The decision is not is my hands. Quote
