September 9, 20159 yr 160MHz? How is that possible? Ram timings? How much Vcore? So awesome overclock on so old mobo, wow! Breathtaking.  But it is weird to see there different clock speeds: post screen - 160MHz TestCPU - 153MHz CPU identification - 126.3MHz  I believe that old version of CPU-Z will work on the older version of Windows just nicely and show the proper clock If not, then there is this little 4k utility for showing the CPU clock too: TSCWin 1.0 http://falcosoft.hu/softwares.html#tscwin  It does absolutely nothing, besides showing up the CPU clock. Size - 4744 bytes. Asm source included. Might be worth checking out, I try it on my 10.7MHz machine as soon, as wPrime end it's 1024M run: http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=145068 For the 3th time...!
September 9, 20159 yr My Am486DX4-120 runs at 160MHz@5V, too. That's not a problem. I'm actually wondering how far can these be pushed. I think 200 is doable on good mobo with more FSB settings than my Zida.
September 9, 20159 yr Thanks guys. Nice thing about the SiS 496/497 board is that it "just works." That's more than I can say for my UMC 881/886 board, which is a real diva to work with.
