Hi, I'm having a strange problem with my Ripjaws V 3000 C15 4x4GB mems.

I'm using Asrock Z170 OC Formula and tried 1.90, 1.92, 2.0 and 2.10 bios, using i3-6100 and i7-6700k as CPU to try different IMCs, and couldn't set a mem multiplier over x32. My max clock was 3290 C16 raising a little bit with BCLK.

They make 3200 C16 1.35V but can't make 3333 C16 even with 1.50V. I don't think the can be soooooooooo bad to not make 133MHz more at that frequencies with 0.15v more. I tried all modules separately, with 1, 2 or 4 dimms installed on all combinations, and couldn't make 3333 with any config.

If someone experienced something like this, or knows what can cause this, some help would be great. Thanks!

Try 16-18, maybe it helps - would be helpful if you can confirm sn, age and code can help to see which ics are used

Attached a image of all the data. Based on what I saw, they should be Hynix since they are A400, but don't know what kind of Hynix chips

EDIT: Tried 16-18, 16-19, 17-18, 17-19, even 18-20 and nothing worked, forgot to add that on the thread

This is weird, some MFR do not scale with voltage, so more volts often don´t help at 3333 and more, maybe you can try if they do 3000c11 or 3200 c12 to determine quality

Better was 3200 14-15-15-35 1.50V and didn't past XTU, score on Cinebench was worst than the same at C15, didn't scale with 1.55v or 1.6v

I bought a G.Skill Trident-Z 3600 C16 2x8GB kit based on B-Die but it won't arrive until at least two weeks (Had to buy it in the US) and wanted to try with this 3000 C15 mems, but seems that I'll have to wait

Try 3200 13-15-15-28-1. Try voltage 1.45-1.55V. Mine works with 1.49V on OCF.

Booted but it wasn't XTU stable, tried voltage from 1.45v to 1.55v in 0.05v steps, and tRFC from 300 to 350, and couldn't pass XTU in any combination. Thanks anyway!

U can try lower too,MFR is tricky on voltage, too low it will give you 55,too high instability or no start again..Try in 0.01V really, you might find the sweetspot which will get you to pass XTU ;)

Ok, I'll try later, thanks!
