miker2ka Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Got a 3570k here. I run it 24/7 @ 4.5 with 1.12 v. For hwbot submissions i set it @ 5.0 with 1.32v. PC is cooled with a custom waterloop from ek (360 total rad). What would be a max safe voltage to push it even higher considering that i also use this pc for work and i can't afford to fry it atm Quote
Crew Leeghoofd Posted January 30, 2017 Crew Posted January 30, 2017 Short sessions is no problem at 1.45-1.5Vcore. If your cooling can handle it of course. Though at a certain moment the voltage MHz scaling will stop and more Vcore might lead to more instability Quote
miker2ka Posted March 23, 2017 Author Posted March 23, 2017 And for Kaby Lake? same 1.45-1.5 for short sessions? Quote
PKBO Posted April 22, 2017 Posted April 22, 2017 Should be ok under water. Iam pushing 1,6V for short tests. But its risky here. Quote
