This is a bad-ass chip. I paid 1200 new 1 year ago from Amazon. Happened to be a fantastic chip. Surface has been very slightly lapped for better thermal contact. Performs in the 98th percentile non-overclock settings and in the 80th percentile on LN2 (which has more to do with my lack of knowledge of optimal OC settings). I'm not a pro overclocker, but I have had this chip stable on 8 cores at 5600. I have clocked it up to 5800. If someone was a little more OC astute they'd probably rock with this chip!
