August 9, 20177 yr Administrators We never allow server hardware for rtp and it is always 1 gpu core unless explicitly allowed - I will add it to the rules nontheless
August 9, 20177 yr That would be appreciated very much. Might save others -with equally insufficient knowledge about "common rules" like me, some time and trouble. And delete my contributions/submission to the competition for not being according to the rules
August 12, 20177 yr Author Wrong rules!Bloomfield not Nehalem if Xeon not allowed.Nehalem is architecture. http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=nehalem
August 16, 20177 yr Administrators The rules are correct - it is nehalem i7 or gulftown i7, which rules out xeons http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=core_i7_(nehalem)
August 17, 20177 yr Crew Yup, I was a little bit inconsistent when I created the CPU families. The problem doesnt exist for Sandy Bridge and up, because architecture name = core name. But Westmere and Bloomfield have completely different core names. I probably fix this by creating another core i7 family, so Lynnfields and Bloomfield are splitted. Edit: Done Though I have to admit that I dont know why this was an issue as you couldnt submit with Xeons anyway as it was restricted to Core i7 sub families.
