Johni5 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Hi! GTX 5xx enable multi GPU-s? Xeon CPU enable or disable? Quote
macsbeach98 Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 Single GPU and no Xeons. http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=171661 Quote
Johni5 Posted August 8, 2017 Author Posted August 8, 2017 1 gpu core and no server cpu. Please update the rules. Quote
Administrators websmile Posted August 9, 2017 Administrators Posted August 9, 2017 We never allow server hardware for rtp and it is always 1 gpu core unless explicitly allowed - I will add it to the rules nontheless Quote
g_trud Posted August 9, 2017 Posted August 9, 2017 That would be appreciated very much. Might save others -with equally insufficient knowledge about "common rules" like me, some time and trouble. And delete my contributions/submission to the competition for not being according to the rules Quote
Johni5 Posted August 12, 2017 Author Posted August 12, 2017 Wrong rules!Bloomfield not Nehalem if Xeon not allowed.Nehalem is architecture. http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=nehalem Quote
Administrators websmile Posted August 16, 2017 Administrators Posted August 16, 2017 The rules are correct - it is nehalem i7 or gulftown i7, which rules out xeons http://hwbot.org/hardware/processors#key=core_i7_(nehalem) Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted August 17, 2017 Crew Posted August 17, 2017 (edited) Yup, I was a little bit inconsistent when I created the CPU families. The problem doesnt exist for Sandy Bridge and up, because architecture name = core name. But Westmere and Bloomfield have completely different core names. I probably fix this by creating another core i7 family, so Lynnfields and Bloomfield are splitted. Edit: Done Though I have to admit that I dont know why this was an issue as you couldnt submit with Xeons anyway as it was restricted to Core i7 sub families.
