yosarianilives
So I know that GP102 is banned, however there is no mention of Vega. My question stems from the fact that while Vega is definitely out prior to the start of the comp, Asus has yet to get around to launching ANY Vega cards of their own prior to the comp. So assuming Snsv gets around to launching Vega before this comp ends will it be valid to sub?
Administrators websmile Posted October 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 3, 2017 (edited) Officially released according to asus, so it is allowed. Availability varies but that is no reason to block Vega Update: Vega ruled out because we cannot guarantee same chances for all at availability Edited October 3, 2017 by websmile
Administrators websmile Posted October 3, 2017 Administrators Share Posted October 3, 2017 OK, after we discussed this again and availability is zero at lots of countries, the decision was reversed. The Vega is not! allowed for this competition and I think Asus did a wise decision to avoid conflict with some people having access and majority not
yosarianilives
Alright, thanks for the clarification. Looks like I may hold out of stage 5 but r/overclocking should still be able to find a 1080 and a 980ti/1070.
