bolc Posted February 26, 2018 Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) Hi, For division 7, it says Geforce 400 series allowed. http://oc-esports.io/#!/round/roadtopro_challenger_season4_division7_round1/4133/3dmark_01 Some question arose in my circle that GTS 450 can be based on GF116, used in 500 series graphic card. Are all 400 series, including GF116, allowed, or this is limited to GF 10x series ? Thanks in advance for clarifying this. Cheers Edited February 26, 2018 by bolc Quote
bolc Posted February 26, 2018 Author Posted February 26, 2018 When submitting on oc-esports, it says the gpu is not compatible and submission is not allowed. so apparently it forbidds submitting gf116 scores as 400 series. is that to be corrected, or gts 450 gf116 are excluded from the div 7 competition? Administrators websmile Posted February 26, 2018 Administrators Posted February 26, 2018 This happens when people manage the database who think they decide better what a card should be listed and marketed as and not the manufacturers or Nvidia. Like moving a 9800GT ultimate after ten years to a new, worthless unicorn category. And someone also decided that the 450gts 116 ddr3 is gt400 and that the 450GTS 116 DDR5 is Geforce 500..... For future problems we have a database where you can check where cards are listed at Quote
bolc Posted February 27, 2018 Author Posted February 27, 2018 I understand the difficulty of sorting out/ keepin things straightened out. For the current div 7 competition, what to do with GF116 DDR5 ... ? Quote
Crew Strunkenbold Posted February 28, 2018 Crew Posted February 28, 2018 The GPU just had the wrong core, GF116 instead of GF116'. There were some other Geforce 400 series cards in the wrong families, fixed that aswell. @websmile Please just create a task for me on asana in such cases, I wont see those things otherwise. Quote
