AlphaC Posted April 16, 2018 Posted April 16, 2018 So apparently the power plane has been reworked to be better than the CH VI Extreme... https://edgeup.asus.com/2018/the-x470-motherboard-guide-choosing-the-best-board-for-your-ryzen-build/2/ https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-CROSSHAIR-VII-HERO/ https://overclock3d.net/reviews/cpu_mainboard/asus_rog_x470_crosshair_vii_hero_preview/1 I expect great things from members on hwbot, go overclock that thing! Jumper118 Posted April 22, 2018 Posted April 22, 2018 Mine arrived. Updated to the lastest bios and it works really well. So much better than when ryzen 1 launched. Really pleased with the progress. Quote
Jumper118 Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 Has anyone else noticed that if you put the memory sticks in the opposite slots that they oc way worse? Quote
Rave Posted May 22, 2018 Posted May 22, 2018 @Jumper118 That's definitely a thing on the C6H, slots 2 and 4 are much more stable due to the way the mem traces have been optimised, wouldn't be surprised if it's also carried over to the C7H. Inversely my giga x370 board is pretty indifferent about which slots are populated. 3 Quote
