I noticed that some of my scores are downgraded, and it is not always justified. Now I try to correct my mistakes. For cons, I see no derating when I signal a problem, often function active x enabled. And how do you get when you can not prove the validity of the score, some have been doing long ago, even posted recently? Mikecdm Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 Physx does nothing in 03' or pretty much any other bench with the exception of vantage. Even with vantage, you can disable physx in the vantage options and it will still show as enabled in the gpu-z screen shot. xxbassplayerxx Posted February 3, 2011 Share Posted February 3, 2011 PhysX is not against the rules for 3DMark 03 as it has no effect. The only benchmark on HWBot which it effects is 3DMark Vantage. If you're reporting scores, you should read the rules for the benchmark first. A knowledgeable userbase saves the moderators time. EDIT: Seems Mike just beat me to it! Sam, Only benchmark that is prohibited PhysX is the Vantage, because it gives an unrealistic score on the CPU.
