K404 Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 Is the latest version of CPU-Z only needed for CPU-Z validation results or is the latest version demanded/highly preferred for all results? I have some 1.4.6.x results I was hoping to accumulate and submit in one go, but I hear 1.47 is due in a few days and i dont want to lose the results I have so far (and im not ready to submit either..unless I HAVE to...) Most of the time it doesnt make any difference to the result accuracy, the CPU-Z validation checker is the only place I can think of where the version really matters... Quote
knopflerbruce Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I'd say it's OK. The point of having CPUZ/GPUZ is just to show type of HW and speed/timings, and as long as the version does that it shouldn't be an issue. Quote
j1g1t Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 I have trable: CPU-Z 1.42's results isn't validating in x86-secrets. Quote
Massman Posted August 30, 2008 Posted August 30, 2008 That is no problem, you're still banned Jigit. Quote

You cna either re-bench the setup with the most recent CPUZ version, or ask the maker to manually add the scores. Not sure he'll do that unless they're really good... Quote
