Carcosa
Hey Im not even overclocking and getting 90+ degrees in Battlefield V, is this dangerous for my cpu? Here are my specs Intel Core i7-8700K CPU @ 4350.0MHz - 2362 XTU marks on HWBOT Edit: well my memory is running at 3000 but other than that im not OC. I have a great heatsink and high quality thermal paste too Edited May 6, 2019 by Carcosa
Crew Leeghoofd Posted May 7, 2019 Crew Share Posted May 7, 2019 What cooling are you using? Are you loading a preset profile from bios ? To be honest I would not like my CPU to be at 90°C plus during games... My 8086K@5Ghz is around 65°C, but it has been delidded and the paste replaced with Liquid Metal. ObscureParadox
Which cooler are you using then? 90+ without any overclocking is pretty high, somethings not quite right here. Can you maybe take a picture of your rig for us?
