I know that hwbot does some kind of rounding for the superpi scores.

 

 

For example (spi1M)

 

7.301=7.3 and 7.297=7.3

 

 

My question.

 

Why should the 7.301 score must be listed in a better place than 7.297 ... just because it was submitted earlier ?

Isn't possible to change over to 1/1000 of a second? Because 1M Pi becomes shorter and shorter...

 

To me it looks like the 1m computation time accuracy is not as high as 1ms, btw - which will lead into trouble when the times get fast enough. Perhaps we need another mod-pi soon?
