Is it forbidden to bench with somebody elses pc? NO, i don't think so.

I buy vga's, give them to others memebers for benching, sell them, loan pc of friend, and bech with it.

Is this forbidden?? NO

so what is the problem that some of my scores are deleted and who of the moderators is deleting them?

I even don't get a email WHY it is deleted, no reasen !!!!

I am.

The problem is hardware sharing: http://www.hwbot.org/hwbot.post.do?postId=689

Actually, it is. If we don't apply these rules, it's so easy to get points: one bencher has a golden setup, he invites 100 members to his house and lets them bench his setup. 100 top scores of one team => gigantic boost.

I even don't get a email WHY it is deleted, no reasen !!!!

You should, actually. They should've been sent to crochr@hotmail.com and if not, please let us know, because that might be a bug.

for you thelamer : reason is the screenshot is not ok. and should be deleted yes.

For my problem, how can you know that it is the pc of another member??

Even when you have exact the same hardware?

I buy the same hardware as "member X", OOOHHH benching together then? Deleted !!!

Then you should check many accounts, and delete many scores on hwbot.

I spend many euro's on benching, many houres on it, bbuy every week new hardware and sell it.

And then you get this.

And the worse part of it, no email With reason, the scores just vanishes.

@ Massman : What if i buy the same hardware next week, because i give a demo on Dice and LN² after 2 weeks,

and i get exact the same score,

Then i can't submit it here, because it gets deleted.

What is then the point of delete it?

This is not motivation for more benching and spending euro's.

In many cases, it's difficult to know, because we don't attend every bench session. We have had some issues regarding this in the past and the best solution to prevent scores is to take pictures of the hardware you'll be using during that bench session (for instance, if you have 1 GF8800u and the other has 1 GF8800u, make one pictures of the two cards).

In this case, it was quite easy, because you are on my team.

Then look at my scores and see example the Vga's, all the vga's on my skulltrail,

buy, bench and sell them.

Like now, i ordered 4 new vga's for benching, i don't care what other members have of hardware, i like benching, i bench, with a lot of hardware because i have the money, but it's not fair, just when i buy the same cpu or vga then another member has to just delete my score like that.

Are these scores (what we are discussing here) coming back online be the way ?

You are allowed to lend your CPU to someone else for 3D benchmarking and you are allowed to lend someone else's GPU for 2D benching. No cpu for 2D and no gpu for 3D.

Your scores will not be deleted if you actually own the hardware. We are talking about SHARING, which means that you have ONE setup and TWO people benching it. If you buy yourself an 4870X2, your scores will not be deleted because I have uploaded results with an 4870X2 :).

The blocked scores will not come online, because they violated the hardware sharing rules.

and again scores disappair from my profile ???

Witch one? and again NO EMAIL !!!!!

The superpi 1M score.

@massman: what made you delete his scores? I can't see that information being posted here, so hard for me to write my opinion without any facts:D

Hardware sharing: two members did a joined bench session and uploaded results of each other's bench system.

Members A and B

A owns System C

B owns System D

=> A submits scores with D, B submits scores with C.

This is violating the hardware sharing rules, so I blocked them.

Thanks for pointing out that we still don't spend enough time on HWbot; from now on I'll try to ditch all my other social activities to be more active :)

Ofcourse the manhours put in to this by botcrew is awesome.., to follow every entry and check its validity is impossible.., I think everybody understands this if given some time to think about it...

At the same time fustration over deleted result or no answers in same issue.., also understandable...(had one result deleted myself other day.., my own fault acctually.., not observant enough.., bugged score.., damn.. :-)

This situation is very hard to fully grip... If every submission was made according to stated rules.., well.., no problem would occur...

Only ones who can make this a lil easier is us.., benchers.., so please let us try to help insted of makin it harder..,yes..?
