marcvezina Posted January 22 Posted January 22 (edited) Hi The OpenCL 1.2 (opencl_runtime_16.1.1_x64_setup) I have seems to work on Intel only... I am running a GENE and 9900X - Benchmate 12.1 and GPUPI 3.2. The error I get you can see in the attached image "CL_DEVICE_NOT_AVAILABLE" I don't have that issue with Opencl 2.0 and up. But I see some of you here running the same setup with OpenCL 1.2 - and I've been searching how to make it work with 1.2 without success Is there a specific Opencl 1.2 for AMD? (sorry I'm kind of new to AMD) Below is the error I get running GPUPI 3.2 - also the log - and as you can see I have installed the OpenCL and MS Visual libraries. In theory it should work but I am missing something here and it fails to run. I am only trying to bench on CPU - not GPU Any clue would be appreciated Thanks MarkDeMark Edited January 22 by marcvezina Quote

AMD_APP_SDK_2.9.1 has support for OpenCL 1.2 but you can't run GPUPI using Intel OpenCL 1.2.with it. I see some of you guys running AMD 9900X in GPUPI 3.2 straight with Intel OpenCL 1.2. I wonder how...and what am I missing??? See here : https://hwbot.org/submission/5646000 I.nfraR.ed's GPUPI For CPU - 1B Score Edited January 23 by marcvezina Quote

That wasn't the case for me. But good to know. For me it really was 16.1.1 vs 16.1.2 version that solved it. Edited January 24 by marcvezina 1 Quote
