Just installed Windows XP on an Abit KN8 + Athlon 64 3800+ x2 Manchester + ADATA Vitesta DDR566 TCCD.

BIOS Settings by SPD, and when I start MaxxMem benchmark, Windows freeze always at around 50 %.

 

btw no errors under memtest86+

Works using Asus A8N-E

I am not sure about amxxmem, my Antivirus protection identified it as malicious. So i scare to use it anymore.

 

Someone had same Experience?

Board doesn't like the ram. It happens.

try "normal" ddr266-ddr400. my dfi lanparty nfII didn´t like ddr566, too. but it worked with team "xtreeme" ddr500 as well as with team "elite" ddr400
