Matti OC Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) HI, danke lg Matti PS: Turrican, man sollte doch mal überlegen AGP Karten besser zu bewerten @ HWbotPunkte, der Zeitaufwand ist viel größer. Edited January 4, 2010 by Matti OC Quote

Massman Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 They support it, but not the 333FSB ones. Quote

Massman Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 Hey guys, don't forget to indicate the brand of the VGA card you're using ... always nice to see the stats on that Quote
Oj0 Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 They support it, but not the 333FSB ones. They do, but the FSB wall is around 300MHz. Stock is 200x10 Quote
Massman Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 They do, but the FSB wall is around 300MHz. Stock is 200x10 Oh, must be a new bios update then. I had the PT880U based board for a while and a Wolfdale-based CPU was locked in multiplier x6. Couldn't change the MP, so ... :-/ Quote
GreenKiller Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 Damn the TI4200 i got is damaged, cant run any 3D-App without crashing, even after swapping cooler and underclocking. Quote
Matti OC Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 könnte auch am CPU takt liegen, ab 3,4 GHz kommt bei mir die gleiche meldung. lg Quote
DShadow Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I want to learn how to do some overclocking and thought this would be a good opportunity to learn it. Since the hardware is older the costs shouldn't be so high. But are components even available on new or second hand market? Or should i have most of the component on hand already? Quote
Matti OC Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 is Xeon 2,4 @ 3,4 / sockel 604 default Vcore (no Pinmod.) max score 2247 Wings of Fury max 142 Quote
GreenKiller Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 @DShadow: you need a AGP-Board+CPU (there are even some newer boards with more recent sockets) and the gfx card (look at ebay) Quote
DShadow Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 @DShadow: you need a AGP-Board+CPU (there are even some newer boards with more recent sockets) and the gfx card (look at ebay) And aftermarket vga coolers are those still widely available? For the older vga cards? Quote
GreenKiller Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 You can even use newer ones, you only have to look for the distances of the holes of the cooler (dont know the word for that in english ). It should be the same like my GF6200, its ~53mm. Quote
Massman Posted January 5, 2010 Author Posted January 5, 2010 Looks like backup games are in progress Quote
s0lid Posted January 5, 2010 Posted January 5, 2010 I think i'll put Thermalright HR05/IFX as hs for my 4600TI, should cool enough with good fans =P Quote
