HI, danke ;)

PS: Turrican, man sollte doch mal überlegen AGP Karten besser zu bewerten @ HWbotPunkte, der Zeitaufwand ist viel größer.

I might join in with:

Pentium 670 @ 92mm noctua cpu hs.

Asus P5VDC-MX

2Gigz DDR2

4600TI with improved cooling + vmods coming.

+ Random the stuffs.

Why's everybody running such "crap" chips at such "low" frequencies? :/

E8600 @ 3GHz on Asrock board, GF4200 @ 344/700MHz on water... Tempting, I hope I can get my board back in a hurry :D

Just wondering is there any Asrock AGP board that supports Wolfdales... Well my p4 is at low as 3.8GHz :D

just need to grab the board from work and recap+flash the 4600TI :P

Hey guys, don't forget to indicate the brand of the VGA card you're using ... always nice to see the stats on that :D

They support it, but not the 333FSB ones.

They do, but the FSB wall is around 300MHz. Stock is 200x10 :P

Oh, must be a new bios update then. I had the PT880U based board for a while and a Wolfdale-based CPU was locked in multiplier x6. Couldn't change the MP, so ... :-/

I want to learn how to do some overclocking and thought this would be a good opportunity to learn it. Since the hardware is older the costs shouldn't be so high. But are components even available on new or second hand market? Or should i have most of the component on hand already?

@DShadow: you need a AGP-Board+CPU (there are even some newer boards with more recent sockets) and the gfx card (look at ebay)

And aftermarket vga coolers are those still widely available? For the older vga cards?

You can even use newer ones, you only have to look for the distances of the holes of the cooler (dont know the word for that in english :D). It should be the same like my GF6200, its ~53mm.

I think i'll put Thermalright HR05/IFX as hs for my 4600TI, should cool enough with good fans =P
