March 3, 201214 yr Nice Mike, very impressive score, especially at 5.5GHz. Memory latency of almost 30, I'm not sure I have seen many that high. The more I look at results, the more it looks like 7970 is better in 3d pixel shader, but equivalent in other subtests.
March 3, 201214 yr Thanks, so close yet so far from 1st. I'm sure we'll see better scores soon from the other competitors. The 7970 usually scores higher in 3d pixel shader, about 6500 or so. If you look at my gpu-z it's running at 8x, due to the raid card occupying the 2nd slot on my gene-z.
