April 4, 201214 yr That's an interesting way to get 10 cores. I'm just curious, why does cpu-z show it as two E5620's? Is it just messing up because of the weird cpu combo?
April 4, 201214 yr ^^ could we get away with just one cpu category - something like maybe: sr-2 "Mutt" ?? :)
April 4, 201214 yr Nice find Steve I cry as a staff member ... No need to add some special CPU categories. Add one check in result submit code: if multi-socket board specified then show extra CPU fields (CPU2, CPU3, CPU4 - based on which board specified). Then result goes for best CPU category like when mixed VGA used (based on which CPU specified in CPU1 field).
April 4, 201214 yr I'll laugh if the same is possible with 4+ socket server boards meaning you can have 7/9/11/13/14/15/17/18/etc cores for wprime
April 6, 201214 yr ^^ yes but their won't be much incentive to make the runs if they are only worth 10 points each
