Masterchief79
I can't help myself but you seem to be extraordinary lucky with your retails^^ Great score. Is that thing already TIM-changed?
der8auer
No TIM changed yet The CPU ran until loop 18 yesterday on 6634 MHz. System wouldn't boot anymore after so I will try again now.
subaruwrc
good chance that cpu is dead the one ive tested shut down in the middle of a pi 32m run and was dead after it but maybe u will be a bit luckier as my board burned in the process .. if system shut down in the middle of a test like wpr 1024m or pi32m, never try to restart it soon. wait a few minutes to let the mosfets cool down or they will burn killed an x58a-oc/ giga 990fxa-ud7 and a z77 gd65 with this .... der8auer
Interesting. Thanks for sharing your experience. My CPU is still alive. I just checked it.
subaruwrc
lucky. a 7400mhz + fx6100 , and a 6300mhz + 32m stable ivy chip died on me this way. The ihs on the ivy was terrible though. I think with proper contact it was an at least 6400mhz benchable cpu .... ( 5ghz boot at 1.38v )
