July 28, 201213 yr You can probably see what IC is there if you lift up the NB heatsink. My Giga 890GX does 2000 but artifacts really badly and more sideport voltage does not help.
July 28, 201213 yr And I have no artifacts at all Contrary to your situation, this board (came from RMA) is better than my previous one. Old one could "only" run DDR3-1840. July 28, 201213 yr Author @Infrared - Ha. I am hard-pressed to hit 280 on my board. @ Leeg - your score isn't bad for the clocks though, maybe the ram IC is running tighter timings?
July 29, 201213 yr Crew no idea man, previous board had easy 1333Mhz sideport. It was a no brainer, this one can't even do it without making my screen totally unreadable... and the bios is still a complete mess with Thuban... Ebay is my warehouse Chris
