Hyper IC on FM2 platform

No sorry I have no results of my own to show I simply want to ask others, if anyone have tried good old hypers on AMD FM2? I still have two kits Corsair Dominator GT 1600 cl6 that I run 24/7 on Intel z68 but compatibility is so-so resulting in lower stable clock than on AMD Deneb or s775.

Been lookin at 5800k and a good FM2 mobo since I don't play demanding games and would be happy to see my sticks shine again. Who knows, I even have the Corsair ICE T30 laying around

I might have some setup later this week to test. Don't expect too much from it though: bioses are no longer checked for compatibility with Hyper.

 

Besides, on FM2 you're better off with high frequency (DDR3-2600+) than tight timings .

Hypers wont work well and that have been same situation since FM1 cpu's. You need to take some samsung based sticks and run 2600mhz+ like massman said. At least memory is cheap nowadays, so that should be no issue
