Well...its that time of there when my mind is full of crazy idea's.

So on the list today is run 2400MHZ+ ram in a 2500K(yeah :P).

So.....is it possible? coz i couldn't..

so...help?

:D

Use Ivy for RAM OC.

SB CPU IMC does not support RAM dividers higher than 1:8.

For 2400 MHz RAM clock on SB you need at least 112.5 BCLK.

so basically no chance..even if i get a 2600K?

damn you Intel...what about on the AMD side? got an 8350 lying in my table.

Before this was a known fact to me I tried with ss on south bridge and ln2 on CPU ,and still couldn't hit 2400mhz. Not saying it can't be done but. I will say its a waist of time. Also unlike ivy Sandy dies pretty quickly with too much vtt.
