benchmark.kz Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 Hi all. I have a question about global points. Right now i have 237 global points in overall: But in my profile is only 190.8. Can someone explain why? I cant understand HWBOt algorithms... Quote
TaPaKaH Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 (edited) Only 15 global submissions contribute to the global points on your profile. EDIT: your top 15 global submissions actually sum up to 189.9 and not 190.8, but this could be written down to daily point variance Edited July 7, 2013 by TaPaKaH Quote
benchmark.kz Posted July 8, 2013 Author Posted July 8, 2013 Only 15 global submissions contribute to the global points on your profile. understood, thanks. Quote
sofos1990 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 My question is about global points so there's no need to start a new thread. I choose no points on my best 01 result because it's with an ES cpu but all my global points removed from my second best 01 which is with retail cpu. I don't know if it's for the same reason as above(15 best). Quote
Massman Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Hm, your best retail 3Dmark01 result is this one: http://hwbot.org/submission/2342070_sofos1990_3dmark2001_se_geforce_gtx_580_161948_marks But it's not getting any points because it's not your best submission in the global ranking. It would get around 39pts if it would be ranked, so that would be included in your league points. Let me check if that is by design or a bug. Quote
sofos1990 Posted July 8, 2013 Posted July 8, 2013 Once I select no points it should be for any kind of points. On the oc league the meaning of no points it's for not be moved to the pro oc. So if the global are removed there's no meaning for the no points feature. Quote
Crew Don_Dan Posted July 8, 2013 Crew Posted July 8, 2013 Massman, can you please check the effect of choosing the no points option on TPP? In my case, the team's best E8400 32M submission is this one, made by G.Foyle: http://hwbot.org/submission/2340621_xoqolatl_superpi___32m_core_2_e8400_%283.0ghz%29_8min_25sec_437ms However, as you can see, he chose the no points option, so the next in line is my submission: http://hwbot.org/submission/1065742_don_dan_superpi___32m_core_2_e8400_%283.0ghz%29_8min_31sec_969ms Unfortunately my submission doesn't receive any TPP. Crew Don_Dan Posted July 24, 2013 Crew Posted July 24, 2013 Bump. I think there's also a bug concerning Competition Points. If I'm not mistaken they're only awarded if the score submitted to a competition is your best score and receives Hardware ( and Global ) points as well. If you have a better score with the same hardware done prior to the competition, you won't receive Competition Points which imho isn't correct. Quote
Massman Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 That's indeed a bug - competition points should always be awarded. Can you give me a link to a submission and I'll add it to the backlog. Quote
Crew Don_Dan Posted July 24, 2013 Crew Posted July 24, 2013 (edited) This score was submitted for Country Cup 2010: http://hwbot.org/submission/2101015_don_dan_superpi___32m_core_2_e8400_%283.0ghz%29_11min_54sec_844ms/ This score was already in the database: http://hwbot.org/submission/1065742_don_dan_superpi___32m_core_2_e8400_%283.0ghz%29_8min_31sec_969ms/ The one concerning TPP is a bug as well I guess?! Edited July 24, 2013 by Don_Dan Ooops, the LN2 run was already in the database as well. Quote
