Yo there! it has been a while I benched old 3DM that hard but it is damn fun to test old cards on '01 even you can't run even close to clockspeed good guys used before. This one took me around 5 hours after having 2nd place within the first hour.... Then I was in a rush - my windows and system seemed ok so I checked another similar card I had laying around...another hour later there was the 2nd 01 hw-class owned Hey massgirl, wanna meet me at the bar talkin' about 01?! :D regards SoF

About one and a half years ago, Intel released LGA 1156, and plus three chipset P55/H55/H57. As to CPU, main products are Core i3/i5/i7, and their obvious features are: dual-core with built-in GPU, quad-core with built-in HT, and quad-core without built-in HT respectively. As mentioned before, the primary goal of LGA 1156 platform is to replace Intel high-intermediate-level products; besides, LGA 1366 is still the predominant platform for the high-level ones. The product positioning of the new LGA 1155 is similar to that of LGA 1156. To most users, they probably feel that the replacing is too fast. When facing three kinds of LGA platform, they even feel perpl…

My test No tweaks or not even a defrag just installed and test. Also note that I did not go beyong 1.52 vcore in the BIOS since I just borrowed this sandy from a friend. Dang no sandy yet here in the Philippines !!!! Super Pi 1M Test Super Pi 32M test 3D Mark 06 3D Mark Vantage Cinebench 11.5 Trying it out at below 5.1ghz to compare with x58's and i think sandy beat tyles in below 5.1ghz even with lousy ram timings .... Correct me if im wrong ...x58's are actually higher than 7mins in 5.1Ghz Is the Bios stable especially when disabling cores? 4 cores HT off 2 cores HT off

Hi, thought I'd post my findings with 5x 2600K here. First the CPUs: The results of 5 CPUs (4C/8T): 1 bad CPU 47x100 ~without internal PLL voltage override 50x100 ~1.48V no boot with PLLv tweak 1 ok CPU 49x100 ~1.38V without internal PLL voltage override 3 good CPUs 50x100 ~1.38V without internal PLL voltage override For finding good CPUs you need 50x100 with 1.4V or less booting then your chip has potential I would say. For all day find chips that run cool - I had differences of 5-10°C per Chip with same paste and cooler. But the cooler chips didn't ran that well Batch of all 2600K I had: L040B165 regards So…

The new generation LGA 1155 platform will be announced very soon. With some pretests I have done, good performance clock to clock to i7 4C8T, though my 2300k ES (2.8G default but has 4C8T) is not very outstanding, running at 4.5G 24/7 is good enough, lower temperature in both in CPU and Chipset, SATA 6.0 & USB 3.0 supporting, I am very willing to build a new desktop as my workstation to replace my old E6600 P35 platform. Here is my new P67 MB, Asus P8P67 Deluxe: The Features - Dual Giga Lan, Double USB 3.0, Bluetooth, DIGI+VRM and new generation EFI BIOS....etc The MotherBoard and Accessories: Here we see the MB....... Accesories: A front …
