All HD8950 bioses at TPU , are not verified.
That's why i prefer to get it from you.
An other thing , is that , your exact bios version is not uploaded to TPU.
What brand is your card ?
I didnt understand , why you mentioned about stickers ...
Anyway.
Please share that bios when you have some free time.
Thanks
I should be able to upload the bios next weekend, after CC ends, as long as I don't forget. I have the stock bios and now I also have one that I modded for +50% power limit although it's still limited to 1381 mv in trixx. As for the sticker I mainly mentioned it because it's so easy to flash a 7950 to an 8950 that I want to make sure and do that so that I don't have to deal with any accusations at the end of CC of cheating. I suggest that anyone else who subs an HD 8000 series card does that as well

Can you share this vga bios , please
Thank you
It should be on the TPU bios archive. I don't think it's any different than the bios that came on my HD 8950. In case it's relevant I'll be sure to post a picture of the model# sticker on my HD 8950 when I sub my dice scores.

Is it an issue of sending the workload to the gpu at this point? Would more cpu speed potentially help?

Hello, I used the version XTU 6.4.1.1.5 with 7820x on windows 10 and I crash at 4.5 GHz same with 1.40 Vc, this version is not good !!!!!!!!
Did another version not crash? It uses avx which creates a lot of heat, especially on a 7820x at 1.4v. Have you delidded and are you certain that your temps are under control?

So basically you have to have an i9 to win. I see what you did there designer of le competitions. Intel weren't selling enough i9 cos they are poo and Threadripper is miles better so you ask hwbot to design all competitions to make sure as many people in a team or country as possible have to buy latest overpriced crap they put out and can't use their older hw they already have.
Smooth.
The question is how much did they pay you? Also can I have some Intel shillings monies too plz? If they give me £2000 I'll buy a i9 for the country cup
I think you'll find that the i9 isn't that good, mesh sucks. Tons of good replacements. For example the extremely cheap pentium ae, skylake pentiums on a bclk oc z170 board, ivy i5s, skylake i3, etc. This list of things is large and all are relatively cheap.

Sadly here in Italy it's impossible to buy a RX Vega, there are some retailers who list them, but have not actually received from the warehouses yet
Are you asking for it to be banned? A bit late into the comp don't you think?

You mind sharing your tweaks for max frequency on "Custom air"?

Insane! Makes me so jealous! Can't wait to see what's to come with Volta!

^ Windows 7 is super easy to install with usb drivers on a cd and a ps/2 kb

The newer drivers don't work with AB. If you try to change anything it will lock to 500 mhz. You can verify this with the sensor tab in gpu-z. The solution is use saphire trixx 4.9.1, works for me plus you can hex edit it to allow more vcore.

Very nice! Team USA coming out strong this year

Can some somebody give me directions...What I'm doing wrong on the Maximus X Hero (a great board anyway)
Moved from Asrock k6 z370 where my 4dimms kit was hitting 3800-3900 14-14-14-28-280 2T for benchmarks.
On the Asus right now can run 1T and 2T with these speeds but nothing less than cl16-16-16-xx cannot boot performance is fine as RTLs are lower but...why is this difference as on x299 this kit was able to bench same voltages(sub 1.5v) up to 4100 14-14-14-28-290 1T in quad channel ...
8700k IMC is different but the CPU is better in general cannot blame it for such difference. VCCIO and VCCSA tried even more than 1.3v the same. Cannot boot and 55 or 4F error codes are staying for very long time.
Edit: MRC is disabled, tried skew control ... on the latest and previous BIOS original and modified from Raja all the same
one single rank dimm per channel is best. Good bdie is IMC limited not ram limited

I'll have to try that

Any intention to remedy this? community.hwbot.org site is still down. @websmile @massman

Hey man, fun fact. Your score is actually 1818.5

Xeon 771 on 775 platform would make a lot of "sense" if allowed.
they are easy to get, so they're not reserved to a "cast", and are pluggable as any 775 cpu. Plus they add fun to the challenge !
Don't even bother, web hates the idea of "enterprise ruining our OC". He doesn't think that server hw has any place on hwbot and would outright ban it if he could. Some people you just can't argue with.

It's down both on work network and school network for me. Verified with some people in r/oc discord, it's down for them too, will test from home when I get back from class.

What is your tweak for physics? I'm at higher clocks and tighter timings and I can't get anywhere near your score.

trying to access community.hwbot.org the connection keeps timing out for me and I'm unable to access the site. AFAIK it's not on my end. It seems to be specific to the community site as this site and hwbot.org open just fine for me.

Yes, but we saw problems with cpuz as well
Ah, that's unfortunate. Hopefully the workaround works for all boards and people know to use it. Otherwise there will be a lot of disappointed people at the end of the month.

Board had memory channel die, so held back by single channel ram. Still beating several people with higher clocks and dual channel
