im stuck trying to flash the f6x on my ud4... with q-flash utility i get the error message: "invalid bios image" with @bios the software crashes after reading 100% of the bios file. tried the f6x provided by massman and pt1t from here: http://hwbot.org/forum/showpost.php?p=87044&postcount=9 what am i doing wrong? edit: trying right now dinos suggested bios flash tool from here: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/showpost.php?p=4695291&postcount=27 will report back later...

wow, just figured out there is a competiton like this going on. honestly, its not quite cheap to own all the required hardware 1366 board + cpu 1156 board + lynnfield + clarcdale cpu am3 board + deneb/callisto + thuban cpu 775 ddr3 board + cpu thats a minimum of 2000 euro for all equipment necessary is there any word about the prices? good luck for everybody participating!

just checked intels white papers about turbo mode. im not sure what to think about your score, but in my oppinion the maximum possible multiplier is 23. it looks more like a bugged result to me. could you exlain, which settings you had in your evga bios? thanks

ok, good answer - respect. but nobody can buy this chip at the moment. what happens, if the i7 940 extreme will never be released... then 3 people who own this cpu at the moment will stay on top of this category for their life.....

i understand totally, that results made by an i7 940 extreme cpu cannot be counted for the non extreme version of this cpu. so far, so long.... but i dont understand that there is a category existing for a piece of hardware, which will never be possible to purchase - thats my point of view. thx

hi all i wanted to compete to some core i7 940 extreme scores, but figured out, the cpu is only ES, not available to buy officially.... so why the cpu is listed in hwbot? thanks for explanation. (btw: this request has nothing to do with the people who published the scores - trust me: its nothing about you - im just curious how people should compete with you)
