Nope
My current I5-7640X does on ambient water 5.6ghz core / 5.1ghz mesh with 1.4V on Apex VI, LLC 6 even XTU.
Can do easily 5.7 / 5.2 for SPI32m, PI fast ( all light 2D benchmarks ) and all 3D legacy with 1.42V
It is the best of the best I5-7640X ever recorded. Waiting to put it on SS and see what it does.
THE CPU IS NOT FOR SALE.
Just a reply to @AutisticChris
This CPU from aerotracks?

Get a gigabyte? lul
Not sure why anyone would do that to them self, would have to be a proper masochist as every single gigabyte board I've ever worked with has been just absolutely terrible. Maybe if they knew how to make a bios that worked, or maybe if they could have said bios actually properly apply the settings it's given, or maybe if they're qc existed at all. Or maybe if they just let someone who knows how to make motherboards make a motherboard then slap the gigabyte branding on it, then maybe I'd consider a gigabyte board. But otherwise I think that it's just not worth the pain for zero gain.
Anyways from my experience the evga dark is very good for skyx, if not possibly the best. However it doesn't work very well for kabyx so if you want to use 7740x then you'll want an OCF. The rampage board from asus is also pretty good for kabyx but doesn't have the vrm to stabilize clocks on the bigger skyx chips.
Thank you very much for widthest answer.

Best Mobo X299 for OC - Evga Dark or Asrock OCF?
I choose between both.
Evga - E-ATX, construction as overall - heavy-duty.
Asrock - many know how, highest performance.
Which of them allows you to achieve the best results?
What can I put less voltage for example? Thanks.

Maybe I have a prober candidate for you.
7640X Boxed.
Batch L705B916, pretty similar to the one from aerotracks ( L705B890).
Can do CB @ 1.168V 5GHz on air. This CPU is not delidded yet.
Has never seen cold. I have no proper board for X299 LN2, Rampage VI Apex is way too expensive.
200€ + shipping...
Result this CPU on 5.5 CBR15?

They exist I guess, but aren't common, doubt those who have one want to sell theirs.
You absolutely right. But i think to next order: as golden (2-3% binning) CPU can run 5.5 for 1.376V, platinum (more rare, less then <1%) could be even for less voltage, example 1.36V.

I finding more powerful memory from G Skill - "F4-4700C19D-16GTZR 2x8GB DDR4-4700 19-19-19-39 1.45V".
Are there any plans to test this kit?
"These are at the moment the highest rated retail kit available in Europe" - And does this phrase mean that there is an in the World even more powerful kit?

Nice review Michael! Read with pleasure!
What you think about OC potential this 4600C18 kit on top X299 Mobo like as Evga Dark, Asrock OC Formula, Apex VI?
Special as easy daily using in 1.55 v or close.
