You sure that CPU pin 2 is not overloaded? The typical spec for the fan connector is around 12w (12v, 1amps). Might want to move all the fans to the High AMP H_AMP fan header instead. Guessing here is when all the fans run full speed it'll overload the header and the motherboard restart for protection or something.

0088 works with fan control and fan calibration for me I'm using exclusively PWM fans though

anything other than apex should be called a Minimus thing about that crash you experience, I suppose it has to do with the cpu internal power management? If I do 5GHz on the 10900K and set any one of these: CPU temp limit, CPU current limit (amps), CPU power limit 1/2 (incl TAU time) it's fine But I set 5.1GHz, with any amount of voltage, the system will immediately die if those limits are applied (not even hit/trigger)

Everytime I set power limit / amps current limit / temperature limit for the CPU, entire system crashes. I have to run with no limit on temp/amps/power in order to fix it Does anyone know how to fix this with the 0088 bios?

Ah and this mode requires RTL training to be enabled under advanced settings to work right? With mode 1 I can boot no problem, mode 2 won't boot regardless. Regarding VRM tool, it allows adaptive transient response so it will change VRM switching frequency on the fly to best suit the load scenario?

what exactly does maximus tweak mode 1 mode 2 change? some say on >4000mt/s the mode 2 struggles

I think people mainly download 0088 just for the tXP and PPD without the need for memtweakit. I will check the vdimm limit for you real quick. What kits are you planning to use >2v on? Without extreme cooling?

Oh damn, thanks a BIG quality of life improvement! Thanks for the info. I have SP71 I believe someone mentioned that the SP would sometimes be inaccurate with a new bios / cpu install.

For 0088 bios what improvements can we expect over official 0067? Also, how do I reset SP/cooling score?
