my finding are more like you did, a good chip will boot at 5GHZ on interal pll off. if it needs it above 4800 its a x53 likely cheers! Sergio

the ones that Dumo tested are good mine is 3049A351 also Costa Rica i got this only one and boots x55 from 3 Dumo tested 2 boot x55 i would try one its prime stable on water at 5GHz HT with 2x4GB 2133 9-11-10-28 trfc 108 RAM and 2 GTX580's OC'd in SLI at 1,44 LOAD max temp 68C IDLES on 29-30C ambient is 22C and 14C outside some things never change the more GB or RAM and tighter the more vcore u need, as on 2x2 it does the same on 1,428 LOAD cheers !
